The study demonstrated how mutations in the progesterone receptor (PR) contribute to conditions such as uterine myoma and progesterone intolerance. Large-scale molecular dynamics analyses revealed that the mutant progesterone receptor exhibits compromised activity in recruiting co-activators, thereby impairing normal receptor function.
