Doctoral Programmes

  • Jubilee Centre for Medical Research (JCMR) functions as a dynamic academic hub that supports advanced education, research training, and scholarly activities across the institutions of the Jubilee Mission Hospital Trust. Recognized as a research centre by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, JCMR facilitates doctoral research in medical, nursing, allied health sciences, and life sciences.
The centre supports doctoral scholars under experienced research guides and provides comprehensive mentorship throughout the research process. In addition, JCMR facilitates postgraduate dissertations, undergraduate research projects, internships, and short-term training programmes for students from various universities. Structured training includes programmes in areas such as molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, and research methodology.
JCMR actively promotes a culture of inquiry among clinicians and students by encouraging participation in national research schemes and academic initiatives. Through its interdisciplinary environment and modern laboratory infrastructure, the centre plays a vital role in developing skilled researchers and advancing evidence-based healthcare.
