Dr. Saji k.G. received her Ph.D in Zoology for the thesis entitled Epidemiological, Haematological, Biochemical and Lung Function Studies in Workers Exposed to Cement from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam under the guidance of Dr. P.R. Varghese during 2011-2017. After her doctoral studies Dr. Saji joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, at St.Aloysius college, Elthuruth, Thrissur from 2017-2021. She then followed post-doctoral research at Cell and Molecular Biology Facility, Jubilee Centre for Medical Research, during 2021-2024 and then combined to Cytogenetics and Genomics Laboratory on May, 2024

Dr. Saji a currently serving as Scientist B at the Jubilee Centre for Medical Research, Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Thrissur. Dr. Saji is a clinical geneticist with expertise in recurrent pregnancy loss, cytogenetics, and molecular diagnostics. With over a decade of academic and research experience, Dr. Saji has contributed to advancing understanding of chromosomal abnormalities in reproductive health. She is actively involved in patient counseling, teaching, and collaborative projects aimed at bridging clinical and research genetics. She has authored over thirteen publications in the areas of epidemiology, haematology, biochemistry, lung function studies and occupational health.
