Ms. Evelyn Maria , Senior Research Assistant at the Biochemistry & Phytochemistry Research Division, Jubilee Centre for Medical Research, Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, since 7 years who plays a role in supporting research initiatives, with a strong focus on proteomics in chronic inflammatory diseases and the phytochemical aspects of biomedical research. She has a professional experience in the fields of Biochemistry, Phytochemistry and Biotechnology. Her core areas of expertise include electrophoresis techniques - SDS-PAGE &Western blot, Immunoflourescence techniques, depletion kits & Molecular weight Cut off filters and biochemical assays, identification, extraction, chromatographic techniques and isolation of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants. Key responsibilities include the Standardizing of protocols within the Biochemistry and Phytochemistry Research Division to ensure precision and reproducibility. Assisting and providing technical support for ongoing research projects, as well as supporting the Ph.D. Scholars, M.Sc. dissertation candidates and also training the internship candidates to build their technical and research skills. She also excels in record keeping, data management, the project management, including planning, coordination, and execution. Ms. Evelyn has been actively involved in supporting research projects, providing critical technical expertise and laboratory skills that facilitate high-quality experimental outcomes that push the boundaries of innovation and discovery.
