Dr. Dhanya K

Dr. Dhanya K is a Cell Biologist with over 10 years of experience in Cell and Cancer biology. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology from the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology, Trivandrum, under the mentorship of Dr. S Asha Nair, and completed postdoctoral training at Dr. MaitreyiDas’s Laboratory at the University of Tennessee and at Boston College in Massachusetts, USA. She also served as an assistant professor at the Agricultural University in Trivandrum for 2 1/2 years. She recently joined the Jubilee Center for Medical Research as a Scientist C, where she contributes to understanding the etiology of cancer development and progression. Her expertise spans Cell and cancer biology research. In JCMR, her group focuses on Genomic instability in cancer development and progression, with an emphasis on translating molecular insights into clinical applications.
